Training curiosity to imagine better futures.
Mirai is a free app made in Peru to spot signals of change around you, read them with the help of AI and practice foresight with other people.
Why Mirai exists
The future is usually thought about far from people: in reports, offices or expert forecasts. But many changes begin in everyday life, in a market, a bus stop or a school, and the first to see them are the people who live there.
Mirai exists so that perspective counts: so anyone can train their curiosity, notice what is changing and talk about possible futures.
Why from Peru
Peru is diverse, changing and full of improvised solutions that anticipate the future. We started here because we know its streets and its questions, and because a perspective from the Global South brings something different to global conversations about the future.
The app is available in Spanish and English, so that perspective can reach other conversations too.
How we work
- Curiosity first: you do not need to know about foresight to start.
- Together: signals are worth more when different perspectives come together, and there are no rankings of people.
- AI as support: it suggests readings and questions; the judgment and the conclusions are yours.
- Sources in plain sight: every future shows the signals behind it.
- Your privacy: you can post without showing your identity and ask us to delete your data.
Practice with real signals
With Mirai you capture what is changing in your neighborhood, read it through three questions and connect it with other perspectives.
